How long should an HVAC system last in Oklahoma?
12 - 15 years on average. You will get the most life out of it if you have it cleaned at least once per year.
What temperature should I set my thermostat during an Oklahoma summer?
Whatever temperature you're most comfortable with. Oklahoma units are built to run most efficiently when set at 72 degrees but you can go as low as 68 without undue stress. You can run it lower but just know that it puts more stress on the unit. Stress can cause the unit to need repairs sooner than expected and reduce its overall life.

For a 1” filter, we recommend changing them monthly. For a 2” filter, we recommend changing them every 3 months.
